No Handoff Between Your Consultation and Your Treatment

Updated: 24 hours ago
A lot of aesthetic practices split the consultation from the treatment. One person assesses you, someone else performs the procedure, sometimes on a different day, sometimes without ever having seen the assessment. That split is where good plans quietly get diluted — not through anyone's carelessness, but because clinical judgment doesn't transfer cleanly through a chart note. At Sunshine Spa & Aesthetics, the provider who assesses you is the provider who treats you, in the same visit, working from the plan the two of you just built together.
Why continuity changes the plan
That continuity changes the quality of the plan itself. A provider who did your assessment walks into the treatment holding everything they observed — how your muscles actually move, where your anatomy differs from the diagram, what you said you were worried about and what you said you liked about your face and wanted left alone. Notes capture decisions. They don't capture the reasoning behind them, and the reasoning is what makes the difference between a result that looks like you and one that doesn't.
The plan can change mid-appointment
It also means the plan can change mid-appointment when it should. An assessment sometimes turns up something that makes the original idea the wrong one — timing, a medication, an anatomical finding, or simply that a different approach would serve the goal better. When the person holding that judgment is the same person holding the syringe, adjusting is a conversation. When it isn't, adjusting means stopping and rescheduling, which is a large part of why it often doesn't happen at all.
Your record travels with your plan
Your record works the same way. Your history, what was placed and where, how you responded last time, what you asked about and what you decided against — that's the working file every visit starts from, not a form you fill out again in the waiting room. As the practice grows, that record is what keeps your plan portable. The continuity belongs to the plan, not to one pair of hands.
What we actually commit to
Every treatment here is performed by a licensed provider, RN-led, with medical oversight from Dr. Noah Ehinger, MD, Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon. What we commit to isn't that one person will be the only person forever. It's that whoever plans your treatment is the person who performs it, that the plan is built on your anatomy and your history rather than a menu, and that nothing about your care gets handed off in the middle of it.
